Skinny GUY Armor 7LT Recall 25V412: Carbon Monoxide Detectors May Be Missing, Risking Unnoticed Gas Exposure

NHTSA campaign 25V412, reported July 8, 2025, 24 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2025 Bontrager Outdoors 7ROD and Skinny Guy Campers Armor 7LT trailers may have been built without carbon monoxide detectors installed. Without a working detector, occupants may not be alerted to elevated levels of carbon monoxide, a colorless and odorless gas, which increases the risk of injury.

If you own one of these trailers, dealers will install carbon monoxide detectors free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 8, 2025. If you have not received a letter, or have questions, contact Bontrager's customer service at 1-260-768-7932.

You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls, and schedule the free repair at an authorized dealer.
