Nova Bus LFS Recall 25V368: Turn signal indicator may stay on when signals are off

NHTSA campaign 25V368, reported June 11, 2025, 45 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

A firmware error in the digital display can cause the instrument panel turn signal indicator lights to stay solidly lit even when the turn signals are off. This means the dashboard may not accurately show whether the turn signals are operating, and the bus fails to meet federal lighting requirements.

Because a faulty indicator cannot tell the driver the status of the turn signals, the risk of a crash increases. Drivers may misjudge whether the bus is signaling a turn or lane change, which can affect other road users.

The repair is free at an authorized dealer: the dealer will update the digital display firmware. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 7, 2025. Check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls on the NHTSA website, and contact an authorized Nova Bus dealer to schedule the update.
