NHTSA campaign 25V367, reported June 2, 2025, 47 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2023-2025 Orange EV Husk-e terminal trucks may have an inadequate high-voltage short circuit protection fuse. The fuse is designed to open quickly during a short in the electrical system, but it may open too slowly or not at all.

If a short occurs and the fuse does not interrupt it, the risk of a fire increases. Owners should take this recall seriously and have their vehicle checked promptly.

The remedy is free: Orange EV will replace the fuse at no charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 9, 2025.
