Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 Recall 25V365: Headlights May Be Misaimed, Reducing Night Visibility

NHTSA campaign 25V365, reported June 11, 2025, 127 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some 2023 GLC 300 and GLC 300 4MATIC vehicles are missing the caps that prevent headlight adjustment. Without these caps, the headlights can be adjusted improperly, and the vehicles do not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108 for lamps and associated equipment.

Improperly aimed headlights can reduce how well you can see the road ahead, particularly at night, which raises the risk of a crash.

Authorized Mercedes-Benz dealers will inspect the headlights and install the missing sealing caps where needed, at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed July 18, 2025. You can contact Mercedes-Benz USA customer service at 1-800-367-6372 with questions, and you can check your VIN for any open recalls.
