Ford Transit Recall 25V339: Dashboard May Not Show Warning Lights or Gauges

NHTSA campaign 25V339, reported May 23, 2025, 3,506 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain Ford Transit vans from model years 2022 and 2023 have an instrument cluster that may fail to properly light up warning lights and gauges, such as the speedometer. These vehicles had a previous repair under an earlier recall that was done incorrectly, so they do not meet federal display safety requirements.

When the instrument panel does not show critical information like speed or warning indicators, drivers may miss important alerts about the vehicle's condition, which can increase the risk of a crash.

The repair is free. Dealers will update the instrument panel cluster software at no cost. Owners who received a notification letter mailed June 23, 2025 can contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332, and all owners should check their VIN for open recalls.
