DRV Full House Recall 25V305: Loose Step Bolts Can Cause Steps to Detach, Risking Injury

NHTSA campaign 25V305, reported May 9, 2025, 16 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain travel trailers have a removable step assembly whose clip-on bracket mounting bolts may loosen over time. If the bolts come loose, the steps can detach while someone is using them.

Steps that detach during use increase the risk of a fall and injury. Owners should avoid relying on the steps until the repair has been completed.

The remedy is free: an authorized dealer will replace the clip-on bracket assembly at no cost. Owner notification letters were mailed June 19, 2025. You can also contact DRV customer service at 1-260-562-3500, and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
