- K.Z., Inc. (KZRV) is recalling certain 2025 Durango Gold fifth wheels, equipped with a removable step assembly. The clip-on bracket mounting bolts may come loose, allowing the steps to detach.
- Risk
- Steps that detach while in use increase the risk of injury.
- Remedy
- Dealers will replace the clip-on bracket, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 30, 2025. Owners may contact KZRV customer service at 1-800-768-4016 ext. 154 or 153.

What this recall means for you
Certain 2025 Durango Gold fifth wheel trailers have a removable step assembly. The bolts that mount the clip-on bracket can loosen over time, which may allow the steps to detach from the trailer.
Steps that come loose while in use raise the risk of injury, such as a fall when climbing into or out of the trailer. Until the repair is done, use caution when stepping on the entry steps and check that the bracket bolts are tight.
