Temsa TS30 Recall 25V279: Bus Brakes Can Activate Unintentionally, Raising Fire Risk

NHTSA campaign 25V279, reported April 29, 2025, 594 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain Temsa TS30, TS35, and TS45 buses have a multiplex unit (Mux5-B) that may cause the temporary bus stop valve to activate unintentionally. When this happens, the brakes can be applied without the driver intending it, and the brakes may overheat.

Overheating brakes can increase the risk of a fire. If you own or operate an affected bus, contact Temsa customer service at 1-833-628-3672 and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.

The remedy is free. Temsa will inspect the multiplex, update its software, and repair the wiring harness as necessary. Owner notification letters were mailed June 11, 2025.
