International MV Recall 25V276: Right Wiper Linkage Can Separate, Causing Wiper Failure

NHTSA campaign 25V276, reported April 24, 2025, 14,786 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The linkage connecting the right-side windshield wiper arm to its motor may separate, which can cause the wipers to stop working.

When the wipers fail, driver visibility is reduced, which increases the risk of a crash. If your wipers stop working or behave abnormally, pull over safely when it is possible to do so and avoid driving in poor visibility until the problem is fixed.

The remedy is free: an authorized International dealer will replace the wiper module at no charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 2, 2025. You can contact International customer service at 1-800-448-7825 (recall number 25505), and you can check your VIN for open recalls on the NHTSA website.
