Alliance RV Benchmark Recall 25V267: Loose Steps Can Detach and Cause Injury

NHTSA campaign 25V267, reported April 22, 2025, 32 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The removable step assembly on certain travel trailers may have clip-on bracket mounting bolts that loosen over time. If the bolts come loose, the steps can detach while someone is using them, which raises the risk of a fall and injury.

Check your vehicle's VIN for open recalls and contact an authorized dealer to schedule the free repair. Until the inspection is done, avoid relying on the steps if they feel loose or shift when you use them.
