Starcraft RV TT Autumn Ridge Recall 25V207: Trailer Safety Chains May Fail, Letting Trailer Separate From Vehicle

NHTSA campaign 25V207, reported April 3, 2025, 15 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2025 travel trailers have safety chains rated at 7,600 lbs, but the trailer's actual gross vehicle weight rating is 7,995 lbs. The chains may fail under load, which could allow the trailer to separate from the tow vehicle.

If the trailer separates from the tow vehicle, the risk of a crash increases. Owners should check whether their trailer is included in this recall and avoid towing it until the chains are replaced if it is.

Dealers will install new safety chains at no cost to the owner. Owner notification letters were mailed May 8, 2025. You can also contact Starcraft customer service at 1-800-283-8267 and reference recall number 9902624, or check your VIN for open recalls.
