Ford F-150 Hybrid Recall 25V199: Hybrid May Lose Drive Power Suddenly, Raising Crash Risk

NHTSA campaign 25V199, reported March 28, 2025, 47 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

A fuse in the high-voltage battery junction box of certain 2025 F-150 full hybrid trucks may be the wrong part, a 60-amp fuse instead of the correct 150-amp fuse. If that fuse fails, the truck can suddenly lose drive power while you are driving, which increases the risk of a crash.

Ford will have dealers replace the incorrect 60-amp fuse with a 150-amp fuse at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed April 11, 2025. If you have questions, you can contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 and reference recall number 25S29.

You should also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls to confirm whether this or any other recall applies to your truck, and schedule the free repair at an authorized Ford dealer.
