Jeep Wagoneer S Recall 25V174: Headlights may be misaimed, reducing visibility or glaring others

NHTSA campaign 25V174, reported March 20, 2025, 3,919 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some battery electric Wagoneer S vehicles have headlights that may not be aimed properly. The vertical aim adjustment cannot be reached, and the horizontal aim adjustment is not covered as intended, so the headlights may not be adjustable to the correct setting. The vehicles also do not meet federal headlight equipment requirements.

Improperly aimed headlights can reduce your view of the road at night or shine glare into the eyes of oncoming drivers, which increases the risk of a crash.

Dealers will remove the plugs from the vertical aim and install plugs on the horizontal aim, as needed, at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed April 3, 2025. You can contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403 (recall 23C), and you should check your vehicle's VIN for any open recalls.
