What this recall means for you
The rearview camera on certain vehicles may display an inverted image when the vehicle is in reverse. This means the picture on the screen does not accurately show what is behind the vehicle, which fails to meet federal rear visibility requirements.
Because the camera image does not match what is actually behind the vehicle, drivers relying on it while backing up may not see people, objects, or other vehicles in the path. This raises the risk of a crash or injury.
Authorized Ford dealers will inspect the rearview camera and replace it if needed, at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed March 28, 2025. You can also contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 and check your VIN for any open recalls.
