What this recall means for you
Certain 2025 Keystone travel trailers were built with the 7-way cord and 12-volt distribution box wired incorrectly. The wiring lacks adequate surge protection, so it can overheat under electrical surges.
Unprotected electrical wiring that overheats creates a risk of fire. Owners of affected trailers should stop relying on the trailer's electrical system until it has been checked, and should not ignore warning signs such as burning odors, discolored outlets or wiring, or unusual heat at the connections.
The repair is free. Dealers will correct the wiring at no cost to owners. Owner notification letters were mailed March 25, 2025. For questions, contact Keystone customer service at 866-425-4369 and reference recall 25-463. You can also check your VIN for open recalls on NHTSA's website.
