What this recall means for you
A wiring connector pin in the throttle position sensor circuit may loosen over time. When it does, the signal to the powertrain control module can be lost, and the vehicle can lose drive power while in operation.
Loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash, particularly if it happens in traffic or at speed.
Motiv field support technicians will inspect the connector and repair or replace the powertrain control module connector at no cost to the owner. Owner notification letters were mailed April 23, 2025. Owners with questions can call Motiv customer service at 1-650-458-4804. You can also check your VIN for open recalls.
