Keystone Outback Recall 25V110: Side window mislabeled as emergency exit may delay escape

NHTSA campaign 25V110, reported February 21, 2025, 100 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

A side window on certain Keystone Outback travel trailers was incorrectly labeled as an emergency exit. Because the window is not designed to serve as an escape route, passengers may be delayed in leaving the trailer during an emergency, which increases the risk of injury.

If you own an affected 2024 or 2025 Keystone Outback travel trailer, an authorized dealer will remove the incorrect emergency exit sticker from the side window at no cost to you. Owners were mailed notification letters on March 4, 2025. You can also contact Keystone customer service at 866-425-4369, referencing recall number 25-462.

Use your trailer's VIN to check for any other open recalls, and do not rely on that window as an emergency exit until the labeling has been corrected.
