- Problem
- Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2023 Gemini and Compass motorhomes. Washers were not installed with the roof mounting brackets.
- Risk
- Without washers, the solar panel can detach and become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy
- Dealers will inspect and install washers on the mounting brackets as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 26, 2025. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000322.

What this recall means for you
Some 2023 motorhomes were built without washers on the roof solar panel mounting brackets. Without those washers, the solar panel can come loose and detach while driving, becoming a road hazard that increases the risk of a crash.
If you own an affected vehicle, contact an authorized dealer to have the roof mounting brackets inspected and washers installed where needed. The repair is free of charge.
