What this recall means for you
These trucks are missing the anti-lock brake (ABS) warning light and the circuitry that controls the anti-lock function for an attached trailer. Because of this, the vehicle does not meet federal air brake safety requirements.
Without a working trailer ABS, the trailer may not brake as intended, which increases the risk of a crash. The driver may also not be alerted to a problem with the trailer's anti-lock system.
Dealers will add the missing ABS warning light and circuitry at no charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 28, 2025. You can contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177, and you should check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
