Palfinger FHS 55 Forklift Recall 25V008: Rear marker lights mispositioned, reducing visibility

NHTSA campaign 25V008, reported January 14, 2025, 2,149 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The outer rear marker lights on these forklifts were installed in the wrong location. Because of this, the vehicles do not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108, which governs lamps and reflective devices.

Incorrectly positioned lights can make the vehicle harder for other drivers to see, which raises the risk of a crash. Owners should take this seriously and arrange the repair promptly.

Authorized dealers will install a steel plate and relocate the lights at no cost to you. To arrange the repair or ask questions, contact Palfinger customer service at 1-712-256-9347. You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any other open recalls.
