What this recall means for you
A software error in the Body Domain Control Unit can cause the low beam headlights and taillights to stop working. This means the vehicle may not be properly lit at night or in poor weather, and the loss of lights can reduce visibility to other drivers and increase the risk of a crash.
If you own one of these vehicles, Kia will update the Body Domain Control Unit software at no cost at an authorized Kia dealer. You can check whether your vehicle is included by entering your VIN on a recall lookup tool. Owner notification letters were mailed February 21, 2025. For questions, contact Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542 and reference recall SC331.
