What this recall means for you
This recall covers a 2025 Blue Bird All American school bus with incorrect wiring that reverses the high and low beams. The high beam indicator can also light up when it should not. Because of this, the bus does not meet the federal lighting standard, FMVSS 108.
The main danger is that the driver may switch on the high beams without meaning to. Bright high beams can impair the vision of other drivers, which raises the risk of a crash.
The remedy is still being developed, so no repair is available yet. Owner notification letters were mailed February 14, 2025. If you own this bus, contact Blue Bird customer service at 1-478-822-2242 and reference recall number R25DH (NSB). You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
