What this recall means for you
Certain 2024 Rizon electric trucks may have a traction motor controller circuit that can be damaged by excessive current. This can cause the vehicle control unit to malfunction and the truck to lose drive power.
A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash. If your truck is affected, the risk is that it may suddenly lose the ability to move under its own power, especially in traffic or on the road.
Dealers will inspect the connectors and replace any that are discolored or deformed, and install a sub harness, all free of charge. Owners who have questions can contact Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America customer service at 1-877-711-0707 and reference recall C10131. Check your VIN for open recalls and contact an authorized dealer to schedule the repair.
