What this recall means for you
The hydraulic control unit (HCU) in the anti-lock brake system may fail. If it does, the anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, and traction control can stop working.
Losing these systems can increase the risk of a crash, especially in slippery conditions or during emergency braking, when anti-lock braking and stability control help keep the vehicle under control.
Your dealer will replace the brake HCU, or its motor, at no cost to you. Owner notification letters began arriving January 9, 2025, and you can call FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403 with recall number C4B. You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls, and schedule the repair with an authorized dealer as soon as possible.
