- Problem
- Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023 Alfa Romeo Stelvio vehicles that were previously remedied under NHTSA recall number 24V-512. - Risk
- Incorrect tire information can result in installing the incorrect-size tires, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy
- FCA will mail corrected tire placard labels. Owners may bring the label into a dealer for free installation. Owner notification letters were mailed December 12, 2024. Owners may contact FCA US customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US's number for this recall is C3B. Vehicles previously repaired under recall 24V-512 will need to have the new remedy completed.
- Notes
- Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or go to nhtsa.gov.
What this recall means for you
Some 2023 Alfa Romeo Stelvio vehicles that were already repaired under an earlier recall have an incorrect tire size listed on the tire placard. This does not meet federal tire selection and rim requirements. Because the placard gives wrong information, an owner could install tires of the wrong size, which can increase the risk of a crash.
FCA US will mail corrected tire placard labels to affected owners. Owner notification letters were mailed December 12, 2024. If you received a letter, you can take the new label to a dealer, where it will be installed for free. Vehicles previously repaired under the earlier recall must have this new remedy completed as well.
For help, contact FCA US customer service at 1-800-853-1403 and reference recall number C3B. You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
