- Problem
- Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2021-2025 Impression fifth wheel travel trailers. The solar charge line, front LED hitch light, and the pass-thru light may have been wired to the incorrect mini breaker.
- Risk
- Wires connected to the incorrect mini breaker could melt and short, increasing the risk of a fire.
- Remedy
- Dealers will correct the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 3, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-367-3314. Forest River's number for this recall is 83-1862.

What this recall means for you
Certain fifth wheel travel trailers have solar charge, front LED hitch light, and pass-thru light wiring that may be connected to the wrong mini breaker. This can cause the wires to melt and short out.
A melted, shorted wire creates a risk of fire, which could cause serious property damage and injury. Owners should not wait to have this checked.
An authorized dealer will correct the wiring at no cost to you. Owners were notified by letter mailed December 3, 2024, and can contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-367-3314. Check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
