Kzrv Sportsmen Recall 24V828: Door Actuator Can Rub Tire, Risking Tire Failure

NHTSA campaign 24V828, reported November 1, 2024, 14 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2025 travel trailers have a driver's side door slide-out actuator mounted too close to the tires. The actuator can contact a tire, which can cause the tire to fail and raise the risk of a crash.

The remedy is free. Authorized dealers will install taller equalizer suspension components to correct the clearance between the actuator and the tire. Owners who have not yet had this done can contact KZRV customer service at 1-800-768-4016. You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls to confirm whether your trailer is affected.
