What this recall means for you
Water can get into the tailgate park assist sensor interface module on these Ford Super Duty trucks. When that happens, the rearview camera image may show up intermittently or appear blue or black instead of a clear view behind the vehicle.
A rearview camera that does not display properly reduces what the driver can see behind the truck, which raises the risk of striking a person, object, or another vehicle and could lead to injury or a crash.
The repair is free. Authorized Ford dealers will replace the tailgate top camera, wire harness, and sensor interface module, and update the image processing module software. Owners who received the notification letter mailed August 6, 2025 can contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 and refer to recall 24S66. You can also check your vehicle identification number for any open recalls.
