What this recall means for you
Certain 2023-2024 Ram 1500 trucks may have a turn signal self-canceling feature that does not work properly. The vehicle's turn signals may then fail to show the driver's intention to change direction, and the truck does not meet federal lighting safety requirements.
When turn signals do not clearly show other drivers where you are going, the risk of a collision increases, especially at intersections, lane changes, and turns.
Dealers will inspect the steering column control module and replace it if necessary, at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed October 23, 2024. You can contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403 (Chrysler recall number A1B), and you can check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
