Cushman Tour LSV Recall 24V709: Brake Linkage Rod May Bend, Reducing Braking Ability

NHTSA campaign 24V709, reported September 24, 2024, 1,137 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2024 and 2025 low-speed vehicles from E-Z-GO, Cushman Tour, and Cushman Hauler PRO lines may have a brake linkage rod that can bend when force is applied to the brake pedal. A bent rod can impair the application of the brakes.

Reduced braking ability increases the risk of a crash. If you own an affected vehicle, avoid relying on brakes that feel weak or unresponsive, and contact an authorized dealer as soon as possible.

Dealers will replace the brake linkage rod free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 15, 2024. For questions, call Textron Specialized Vehicles Customer Service at 706-799-4768 and reference recall number FSB05-24. You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
