Triple E Unity Recall 24V705: Wrong weight label may lead to overloading and crash risk

NHTSA campaign 24V705, reported September 20, 2024, 95 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The vehicle's certification label has the metric and imperial gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) values transposed. Because the label shows the wrong maximum weight, an owner could unknowingly load the motorhome beyond its safe limit.

An overloaded vehicle increases the risk of a crash. Owners should not rely on the current label when judging how much weight they can carry.

Triple E will mail corrected labels to owners at no cost. Owner notification letters were mailed October 9, 2024. To request a replacement label, contact Triple E Customer Service at 1-204-325-4361. You can also check your VIN for any open recalls.
