Jaguar F-Pace Recall 24V677: Rearview camera may fail to display, raising crash risk

NHTSA campaign 24V677, reported September 12, 2024, 5 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The Near Field Sensing Module, which processes the 3D surround camera images including the rearview camera, may overheat. When this happens, the camera images may not appear on the screen.

A rearview camera image that does not display reduces the driver's visibility behind and around the vehicle, which increases the risk of injury or a crash.

Authorized dealers will replace the Near Field Sensing Module free of charge. Owners who received the notification letter mailed October 24, 2024 can contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
