- Problem
- Trail King Industries, Inc. (Trail King) is recalling certain 2019-2020 TKHDG Paver Special trailers. The gooseneck lift lower cylinder mount may fatigue and crack, which can cause the trailer to drop suddenly during the loading or unloading process.
- Risk
- A trailer that suddenly drops to the ground during loading or unloading increases the risk of injury.
- Remedy
- Dealers will install reinforcements to the lower cylinder mount, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 18, 2024. Owners may contact Trail King customer service at 1-800-843-3324.

What this recall means for you
Certain 2019-2020 Trail King TKHDG trailers have a gooseneck lift lower cylinder mount that can fatigue and crack over time. A cracked mount can cause the trailer to drop suddenly to the ground while it is being loaded or unloaded.
A sudden drop during loading or unloading raises the risk of injury to people working near the trailer. If you own one of these trailers, avoid loading or unloading it until the repair is completed.
Authorized Trail King dealers will install reinforcements to the lower cylinder mount at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed September 18, 2024.
