What this recall means for you
Certain Winnebago travel trailers may have a standard outlet installed on the countertop where a GFCI (ground-fault circuit interrupter) protected outlet should be. Without that protection, the circuit may not shut off quickly enough if there is an electrical fault, which increases the risk of electric shock and injury.
If you own an affected 2021-2024 Minnie, 2024-2025 Access, or 2021-2025 Voyage travel trailer, an authorized Winnebago dealer will install a GFCI outlet at no charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 10, 2024. You can contact Winnebago customer service at 1-574-825-5250, referencing recall number CAM0000038.
To check whether your trailer has an open recall, enter its VIN at the NHTSA recall lookup or contact a Winnebago dealer.
