Fleetwood Flair Recall 24V610: Exterior outlet may not cut power during a ground fault

NHTSA campaign 24V610, reported August 14, 2024, 598 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain motorhomes may have an exterior patio outlet that lacks GFCI (ground-fault circuit interrupter) protection when it is powered by the generator or a shore power cord. A GFCI is designed to shut off power quickly when electricity leaks to ground, so without it the outlet may fail to cut power during a ground fault.

This failure increases the risk of electrical shock or injury to anyone using or touching the outlet or connected equipment. Owners should take this recall seriously and have it addressed promptly.

The repair is free. An authorized dealer will install a GFCI protection device before the inverter transfer switch. Owner notification letters were mailed October 11, 2024. For questions, contact REV Recreation Group customer service at 1-800-509-3417 and reference recall number 240812REV. You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
