Livewire S2 DEL MAR Recall 24V601: High-Voltage Fuse Can Open and Cut Drive Power

NHTSA campaign 24V601, reported August 12, 2024, 788 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The high-voltage fuse in these electric motorcycles can degrade over time and unexpectedly open, which cuts off drive power while the bike is being ridden.

A sudden loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash. Owners should be aware of this risk and check whether their vehicle is covered by this recall.

Authorized dealers will install a high-voltage fuse with an increased amperage rating at no cost to the owner. Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed in August 2024. You can also contact LiveWire customer service at 1-855-387-4337 (recall number 1003), and check your VIN for any open recalls.
