Nissan Frontier Recall 24V582: Headlight Aim Markings Missing, Risking Poor Night Visibility

NHTSA campaign 24V582, reported August 6, 2024, 1,119 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The right-side headlight assembly on this vehicle may have missing or illegible aim markings. Without readable markings, the headlight can be aimed incorrectly, so it may not light the road properly and the driver's visibility can be reduced.

Reduced illumination raises the risk of a crash, especially when driving at night or in poor weather. The headlights also do not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108 as currently built.

Authorized dealers will inspect the right-side headlight and replace it if needed, at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed September 20, 2024. You can contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669 (recall PD121), and you can check your VIN for any open recalls.
