- Problem
- Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Anthem, Granite, and Pinnacle vehicles equipped with RollTek driver's seat assemblies. The seat pedestal and seat belt attachment may have been improperly tightened.
- Risk
- An improperly tightened seat pedestal and seat belt attachment may not restrain the occupant as intended, increasing their risk of injury during a crash.
- Remedy
- Dealers will replace and tighten the seat pedestal and seat belt attachment bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 16, 2024. Owners may contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0469.

What this recall means for you
Certain heavy trucks with RollTek driver's seats may have had the seat pedestal and seat belt attachment bolts improperly tightened at the factory. These bolts hold the seat and the seat belt in place.
If the seat pedestal or seat belt attachment is not secure, the seat belt may not restrain the driver as intended during a crash, which increases the risk of injury.
The repair is free. Authorized Mack dealers will replace and tighten the seat pedestal and seat belt attachment bolts at no cost to you. Owners who received a notification letter mailed September 16, 2024 can contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177 with questions.
