What this recall means for you
The tire placard on certain vehicles may list an incorrect Vehicle Capacity Weight, meaning the stated maximum load could be wrong. The vehicles therefore do not fully meet federal tire labeling requirements under FMVSS 110.
If the listed capacity is higher than it should be, the vehicle could be overloaded with passengers and cargo, which can raise the risk of a crash. Owners should not rely on the current label for load limits until it has been corrected.
Dealers will install corrected tire labels free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 20, 2024. For questions, contact Maserati customer service at 1-877-969-2737, and check your vehicle's VIN for any open recalls.
