E-One Cyclone N Recall 24V501: Front Suspension Bolts May Break and Become Projectiles

NHTSA campaign 24V501, reported July 2, 2024, 3 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2024 E-One Cyclone N and Typhoon N vehicles have front suspension lower control arm retention bolts that could become brittle and break after being tightened. The bolt head can then separate and act as a projectile.

A broken bolt head flying off the suspension increases the risk of injury to people near the vehicle. Owners should not ignore this issue, and should check whether their vehicle is affected.

Dealers will replace the retention bolts free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 6, 2024. You can contact E-One customer service at 1-352-237-1122, and you can also check your VIN for open recalls.
