REV Ambulance Type I Recall 24V468: Loose Outrigger Bolts Can Detach Ambulance Module Box

NHTSA campaign 24V468, reported June 21, 2024, 160 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain emergency vehicles with outriggers may have outrigger bolts that were not properly tightened. Over time, this can allow the module box to detach from the vehicle or cause the outrigger itself to fail.

A detached module box or outrigger failure increases the risk of injury. If you own an affected vehicle, contact an authorized dealer, who will inspect the outrigger bolts and tighten them or replace them as needed at no cost to you. You can also contact REV Ambulance Group customer service at 1-855-661-9232, and check your VIN for any open recalls.
