Jeep Wrangler Recall 24V414: Trailer Lights May Fail, Raising Crash Risk

NHTSA campaign 24V414, reported June 6, 2024, 4 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain vehicles have a power distribution center that may keep the trailer turn signal lights and taillights from working as they should. Because these lights may not illuminate as intended, other drivers may not see your signals or braking clearly, which can increase the risk of a crash.

The power distribution center will be replaced by an authorized dealer at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed July 2, 2024. If you have questions, you can contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403, referencing recall number 57B.

You should also check your vehicle's VIN for open recalls on the NHTSA website or through your dealer to confirm whether your vehicle is affected and still needs the repair.
