What this recall means for you
The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail and overheat, which can increase the risk of a fire in your trailer. This recall covers certain trailers from model years 2022 and 2023, and the notice also refers to 2022 through 2025 trailers in the affected lines.
Because an overheating circuit board raises the chance of fire, you should stop using the cooktop range's LED backlights if you notice unusual heat, smell, or damage, and have the trailer checked promptly. Owner notification letters were mailed June 4, 2024.
The repair is free at an authorized dealer. Dealers will either cut the circuit powering the LED backlights and terminate the wiring, or remove the LED backlights. To confirm whether your trailer is included, contact Host customer service at 1-541-330-2328 ext. 5, and check your VIN for open recalls.
