What this recall means for you
On certain 2024 Forest River Puma travel trailers, the amber side marker light may not have been installed on one side of the trailer. This means the trailer does not fully meet federal lighting safety requirements (FMVSS 108).
Without the side marker light, other drivers may have a harder time seeing the trailer, especially at night or in low visibility, which increases the risk of a crash.
Authorized Forest River dealers will install intermediate amber clearance lights at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed June 19, 2024. To check whether your trailer is included, contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-642-0488 and check your VIN for open recalls.
