Audi Q4 e-tron Recall 24V361: Parking lights may fail to work with headlights and turn signals

NHTSA campaign 24V361, reported May 22, 2024, 17,797 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain electric Audi Q4 vehicles may have incorrect headlight control module software installed. Because of this, the parking lights may not operate as intended when the headlights are on and the turn signals are activated. The vehicles also do not fully meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108 for lamps and reflective devices.

Reduced lighting can make your vehicle harder for other drivers to see, which increases the risk of a crash. If you have a 2022, 2023, or 2024 Q4 e-tron or Q4 e-tron Sportback, pay attention to how your lights behave and avoid relying on them in low-visibility conditions until the repair is done.

An authorized Audi dealer will update the headlight control module with new software at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed June 6, 2024. You can check whether your vehicle is affected by entering your VIN at NHTSA's recall lookup site, or contact Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834 (Audi recall number 941L).
