What this recall means for you
Certain 2023-2024 Ford Transit conversion vehicles equipped with GO-ES Space Saver Foldaway Seats may have a recliner mechanism that does not engage when the seat back is fully reclined. As a result, the vehicle does not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 210 for seat belt assembly anchorages.
If the seat back is not locked, it could release when force is applied to the shoulder belt, such as during a crash. This increases the risk of injury to the occupant.
Owners should contact Prime-Time customer service at 1-574-293-9191 or visit an authorized dealer. Dealers will inspect and repair the seat as necessary at no cost. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 27, 2024. You can also check your VIN for any open recalls.
