FR Conversions RAM Promaster Conversion Recall 24V353: Seat Back May Release Under Shoulder Belt Force

NHTSA campaign 24V353, reported May 20, 2024, 150 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2023-2024 Ram ProMaster conversion vehicles fitted with GO-ES Space Saver Foldaway Seats may have a recliner mechanism that does not engage when the seat back is fully reclined. As a result, the vehicle does not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 210 for seat belt assembly anchorages.

If force is applied to the shoulder belt, the seat back could release, which increases the risk of injury in a crash. Owners should take this recall seriously and have their vehicle checked.

An authorized dealer will inspect the seats and repair them as necessary at no cost to you. You can also contact FR Conversions customer service at 1-844-372-8267 for more information, and check your VIN for any open recalls.
