Lamborghini Urus Recall 24V348: Hood Latch Can Fail, Hood May Open While Driving

NHTSA campaign 24V348, reported May 16, 2024, 2,133 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The hood latch striker, the part the hood latch catches on, can separate and fail. If this happens, the hood may not stay latched and can open or detach while the vehicle is being driven.

A hood that opens while driving can obstruct the driver's view or detach and become a road hazard, which increases the risk of a crash.

Authorized dealers will inspect and repair the hood latch at no charge, and will install a striker support plate if needed. Owners can contact Lamborghini customer service at 1-866-681-6276 with questions. Check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls to confirm whether your vehicle is affected.
