- Problem
- Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Byway motorhomes. The secondary emergency exit in the bedroom was not installed.
- Risk
- A missing emergency exit window could prevent or delay the occupants from exiting in the event of an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.
- Remedy
- Dealers will replace the bedroom window with an egress window, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 11, 2024. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-139.

What this recall means for you
Certain 2024-2025 Tiffin Byway motorhomes were built without the secondary emergency exit window in the bedroom. The window is the second way out of that room, so its absence could prevent or delay occupants from getting out during an emergency and increases the risk of injury.
If you own an affected Byway, an authorized dealer will replace the bedroom window with an egress window at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed July 11, 2024. You can also contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661, referencing recall TIF-139.
