Entegra Launch Recall 24V310: Wiring may chafe driveshaft, risking power loss and fire

NHTSA campaign 24V310, reported May 1, 2024, 6 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The main wiring harness in these motorhomes may rub against the drive shaft. Over time this can wear through the wiring and cause a short circuit, which can lead to a loss of drive power, power steering, and brake system control.

A short circuit raises the risk of a fire, and losing drive power, steering, or braking increases the risk of a crash. Owners should take this seriously and schedule the repair promptly.

The repair is free. Inspect the routing of the main wiring harness and correct it if needed at an authorized dealer. Owner notification letters were mailed May 14, 2024. For questions, contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267, and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
